Neil Diamond @ Madison Square Garden ---> "So Good! So Good!"

My Thursday night was spent at The Garden with Neil Diamond *swoon*. His setlist was a mix of classics and new tunes from his latest Home Before Dark. My parents really enjoyed themselves. Its really interesting to go to a show that is literally all ages - from kids to grandparents. I've never seen seniors wheeled themselves so fast to their sections before. The AARP crowd was definitely the majority of the audience. But to see people my age made it all worth the while. There was one chic in front of the stage who danced by herself. Good for her! And across the arena, my brother and I saw a couple dancing to the tune, "Play Me".

The funniest part of the evening was when Neil turned to the back of the stage to see that all the seats were actually filled with patrons. He said, "Did you guys really pay for these seats?" The seats at the back of the stage became available earlier this month and went for $65 a ticket. We nearly bought those but worried that there might be a scrim or something that would obstruct. Kinda kicked ourselves in the butt when we noticed that the stage was open and free from viewing obstruction. Damn.

But, I really like this crowd shot I took (one of my best so far):
