Out to Stop "Fahrenheit 9/11"
“'Fahrenheit 9/11' should be shown as a recruiting video for Al-Qaeda, not in our movie theaters," reads the protest site. The group, which officially launched its effort today, claims responsibility for getting CBS to drop the recent miniseries "The Reagans". Move America Forward calls itself "a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization committed to supporting America’s efforts to defeat terrorism and supporting the brave men and women of our Armed Forces," yet a review of the site's "About Us" page shows that organization head Howard Kaloogian is a former member of the state assembly in California and his board is filled with like-minded people, including self-described conservative SF radio host Melanie Morgan. Republican Kaloogian also led the movement to recall former CA governor Gray Davis. In his blog, Kaloogian wrote yesterday: Michael Moore has the right to free speech. He has the right to make this movie. But, you know what? We, the American people, have a right to raise our objections to his crass anti-American jihad.
