Doing the Math

The latest New York Times electoral map leaves only five states as toss-ups tonight: Florida, Iowa, Ohio, New Mexico, Wisconsin. That gives Kerry a projected 242 and Bush 227. Winning just Ohio (20) and Wisconsin (10) from that group would give Kerry 272 electoral votes.
