In Manchester, ME yesterday, at Cobbossee Lake, one of our hosts, Bruce Schatz (with trusty sidekick Spencer), peers out at the water. In a story about tourists visiting friends and relatives in Maine, the local Kennebec Journal reported this morning that in 2003 more than 40 million people traveled to this state.
