A follow-up to yesterday's item about Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi... Today, a PR rep for "Offside" clarified the situation surrounding the director's trip to New York City:

"The visa was not rescinded. He has come here on visas before. He has applied for one for this trip and has yet to receive it. He was told it will take a few more weeks."
