"Jesus Camp" directors Rachel Grady and Heidi Ewing are getting over the surreal experience of Oscar weekend in Los Angeles - they were nominated for best documentary for their film.

The duo sent a thank you email to their family, friends and supporters today, including a link to an AP story that captured their Oscar festivities:

"It's like somebody else's life we're living," Grady said. "And honestly, that's what we do for a living, is live somebody else's life. Now it's just the Hollywood version."
