Eug, I am so invested in this all of a sudden; It feels REAL suddenly. I was impressed by Hillary's command and presence; She is a really competent leader. That said, I think the right and middle in this country despise her and that her nomination is the right wing's dream; She comes with a lot of baggage. I think Obama is absolutely Presidential, although I wish he would properly address the future of Iraq (we have a responsibility to the people of Iraq to work with the rest of the world and clean up what this out of control administration created in our name) and also that he would address this Republican idea that withdrawl means "surrender". Surrender to whom? Who in Iraq are we fighting? What army are we hoping to beat and force to surrender? Iraq is an international policing mission at this point and the Republican candidates are wrong about this issue, but the Democrats need to articulate a clear plan that acknowledges our responsibility, because we can blow the place to shreds and then say "we have a timeline, now get your act together"... how condescending is that?

And don't get me started on Hillary and immigration.

I'm plugged in now. It's going to be an interesting year.
