Friends have teased me about writing and talking too much about "Brokeback Moutain" (there was the Telluride blogging here and here, and the post-fest article). Oh well, this is my personal blog, its supposed to be biased, and I love the film. So, more on it today, namely a link to a Defamer post today (via MovieCityIndie) comparing its poster to the one used for "Titanic" (Focus says they studied the posters for the 50 most romantic films ever). As a follow-up there is also Anne Thompson's recent lengthy look at the making and marketing of the movie.

After I let the movie sink in and I really allowed myself to feel the story, the pain, the shame, the love, I truely feel that it can change people's close minded views about being gay.

I hope that menas Brokeback is going to make $600M dollars (Domestically) and win 11 Oscars.

But I´d change all that (yeah, I´m selfish) for a chance to watch it now. Anticipation is killing me.

Do you plan to see it again, BTW? Thanks, Eugene
