overheard in the hamptons
At an East Hampton hotel yesterday afternoon, I overhead the following exchange:
WOMAN: "...I have such respect for the help..."
MAN: "Oh, I know, me too. That's why I always try to smile when I walk past them."
WOMAN: "They work so hard."
