As usual, the indieWIRE team will join the top ten fray later today...I still need to finish writing up my Top 10 for the year and have narrowed it down to 35 38 films that were released in theaters this year. Now I just need to get the list down to ten films, with a few honorable mentions. My top 35 38 is below, but I still may try to watch two more movies today, hmm... [UPDATE: I added three films to the consideration list]

"Breakfast on Pluto" "Grizzly Man" "Pride and Prejudice" "The Squid and the Whale" "2046" "Brokeback Mountain" "Broken Flowers" "Capote" "Chain" "Cote d'Azur" "Good Night, and Good Luck" "Howl's Moving Castle" "Hustle & Flow" "Junebug" "Keane" "Kings and Queen" "La Sierra" "Last Days" "Look at Me" "Match Point" "Me and You and Everyone We Know" "Mondovino" "Murderball" "Mysterious Skin" "No Direction Home, Bob Dylan" "Nobody Knows" "Palindromes" "Reel Paradise" "Rize" "Sarah Silverman: Jesus Is Magic" "The Beat That My Heart Skipped" "The Boys of Baraka" "The New World" "The Power of Nightmares" "The Three Burials of Meliquades Estrada" "The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill" "Three of Hearts: A Postmodern Love Story" "Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit"
