I had a really great time at David Wilson and Paul Sturtz' "True/False Film Festival" in Columbia, MO earlier this year...the care and personality that the duo put into curating and presenting a top notch weekend event has won them many fans. New Yorkers will get a brief taste of T/F tonight and tomorrow with two nights of screenings at the IFC Center, representing their focus on work that "pushes the boundaries of documentary filmmaking." Jonny Leahan reports on the program in this month's indieWIRE doc column. (And you can hear David, Paul, and "Chalk" director Mike Akel talking about documentaries and the festival from this morning's Leonard Lopate show).
