What I'd be doing this Friday and Sunday if I lived in New York

Atlanta Film Festival alumnus Lanre Olabisi emailed this update:

AUGUST THE FIRST will be playing once again in NYC for those of you who are in town and can come out to support.

The film is playing at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) on West 53rd, this coming Friday (NOVEMBER 16TH, 8:30 PM) or
Sunday (NOVEMBER 18TH, 3:30PM).

Again, this is part of our nomination process for the IFP Gotham Award for "Best Film Not Playing at a Theatre Near You".

We are looking forward to seeing you in the house, packing it out, letting our future investors and benefactors up in this museum know that we can represent with solid, independent - and mainstream (marketable)- African-Diasporic material.

Until then...
