Film financing panel next Thursday
06/16/2004

The Orlando Film Commission has a great seminar booked at Enzian Theater next Thursday, June 24 called The Art of the Deal: Protecting and Financing Creative Content. Divided into two distinct panels, the first part of the morning covers intellectual property rights with a panel of lawyers and experts. The second panel focuses on financing creative content and the line-up is very good:

Marion Spiegelman, Sr. Vice President, Business Affairs, Film Finances, Inc.
Art Stribley, Executive Vice President, Mercantile National Bank
Elizabeth Untiedt, Vice President, City National Bank, Entertainment Division
Vicki Cherkes, Head of Business Affairs, GreeneStreet Films
Producer Joe Caracciolo Jr.
Kirk Sullivan, Senior Counsel, Foley and Lardner, LLP

The panel will focus on how to go about putting together financing for your project. I've been asked to moderate this panel, so I thought I would put out the call for questions -- what would you like to know from this group? Post your questions and I'll report back after the panel.
