Tipsy with Tarantino

MoMA held a fabulous bash last night for Sofia Coppola...whose "Lost in Translation" was my fave flick of last year. It was a star-studded event, with the likes of my future husband Jake Gyllenhaal, his adorable girlfriend Kirsten Dunst (who I love despite the fact that she's keeping Jake and I apart), Claire Danes, Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick, and so on. (I'll save more name-dropping for my report on the party in indieWIRE's buzz column on Friday). The most notable interactions I had were after the official party ended and I snuck into the VIP room, where I got Quentin Tarantino to order me a glass of wine (I forgave him for not knowing what indieWIRE is because he doesn't go online). I caught up with Jimmy Fallon, who I met months ago at our favorite dive bar, Siberia; chatted with uber publicist Bumble Ward, and drunkenly gushed to Sofia about how much her movie meant to me. A successful night for all involved.
