Later tonight I'm off to the Nashville Film Festival -- despite the fact that I was born and raised next door in North Carolina, I've never spent any time in Nashville. So I'm looking forward to it, plus the festival seems like a well-run event with some strong programming. And my inner 6th grader is thrilled that Patrick Swayze and Rick(y) Schroeder will be in attendance. I hope to catch a Gram Parsons double-header: the doc "Fallen Angel: Gram Parsons" as well as the feature film with Johnny Knoxville, "Grand Theft Parsons," which I missed at Sundance. Plus I plan to venture to the Country Music Hall of Fame and other hotspots.
