The 7th annual The Method Fest Independent Film Festival will have a new home, festival organizers announced today. Calabasas, California's 'Last of the Old West' and still the newest city in L.A. County (incorporated 1991), will host The Method Fest, beginning in 2005 after an agreement with the City of Calabasas as a presenting sponsor of the festival was reached. The 2005 Method Fest is slated for April 1 - 8. Named after a famous school of acting, The Method Fest stylizes itself 'as the only major film festival in the U.S. focusing on acting, celebrating breakout acting performances in story driven independent films.'
