The New York Post is reporting today, in a "We Hear..." section of its Page Six gossip column, that Cannes Film Festival organizers are negotiating to open the festival with a screening of the new edition of George Lucas' "Star Wars" saga, "Star Wars: Episode III, Revenge of the Sith".
The film is set to open in theaters on May 19th, the Cannes Film Festival will open on May 11th in France.
