Independent Film Festival Boston Names Winners

The Independent Film Festival of Boston (IFFB) announced the winners of its recent event. Jury members screened the 61 films prior to the festival held April 21-24 and official awards were handed out during the third Independent Film Festival of Boston on Saturday, April 23. The grand jury prize for narrative feature was presented to "Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story," directed by Brant Sersen. The grand jury award for best documentary film was presented to Ellen Perry for "The Fall of Fujimori." Lastly, the grand jury prize for best short film was presented to "Allison" directed by Jeff Drew, making its New England premiere.
