A Very Gay Weekend: L Word Spoof, Fetish shorts, and Sex Ed

NewFest winds down this weekend with numerous films, docs, shorts, and forums that explore the LGBT experience, including: Susan Kaplan's "Three of Hearts: A Postmodern Family," a very modern romance about the relationship between two guys and a girl, a forum on Queer parenting, and Marco Kreuzpaintner's "Summer Storm (Sommersturm)", a "sexy, evocative coming-of-age story" set in a Bavarian high school. Also to note, two indieWIRE bloggers have short films screening this weekend. Producer Amanda Doss' "Ping Pong Love" screens Saturday in the "Boy Meets Boy Shorts Program" and Scott Westphal-Solary's "Rolls Razor Garden," screens Sunday as part of the "Fetish Shorts Program."
