The premiere for Palm Pictures' "Cronicas" Tuesday night pretty much ruled. We've never really been to the Angelika Film Center in downtown Manhattan for an actual film premiere (in fact, we were talking about how we thought what a cool place it was when we first saw a movie there -- "Orlando" -- back in the day) but there it was, and maybe we have to admit we're a bit more jaded now?

Well, on to the party...Despite the nasty-ass humidity and the fear of not measuring up to the beautiful people at a cool club in the Meatpacking District, we headed over to AER, and guess what! Our jaded asses were wrong. In fact, we jaded our asses with the best margaritas we know of. One of our comrades indulged to the full tilt and had Herrdura Tequila margaritas the whole night, and it was FREE! Film parties have generally become much lower key in the last two years, but this was great! Go Palm Pictures! And the film does bring on the goose bumps! Sneak in some Tequila shots! Especially at the beginning...
