"The Dying Gaul" director Craig Lucas had the Outfest audience rolling as he introduced his film Monday night at downtown Los Angeles' historic Orpheum Theater, saying that he's single and is "accepting applications" for a boyfriend from the stage. The huge crowd seemed to enjoy the film, sure to spark some debate among cinephiles, starring Campbell Scott, Peter Sarsgaard, and a stunning Patricia Clarkson, which will apparently be released by Strand Releasing this fall (the Strand logo running before the film indicated they must be the distributors). Afterward, the crowd fought for cocktails and some cake inside the beautiful facility. Pictured are Lucas (right) getting a little hug from one of the producers of the film, George Van Buskirk.
