Oscar voters get an extra week to deliberate

hile they rush to catch up with the onslaught of year-end film releases with Oscar aspirations, Academy voters will have one more week to mark their nomination ballots in 2006 than they did this year. The 78th Annual Academy Awards are set to take place Sunday, March 5 -- one week later than they were held this year because the Academy didn't want to go head-to-head with the closing ceremonies of the 2006 Winter Olympics.
