WFF: THe Winners

The Woodtstock Film Festival was held this weekend in Upstate New York. A full list of winners follows.

Best Feature Narrative: "August Evening", directed by Chris Eska

Best Feature Documentary: "The Cool School", directed by Morgan Neville

Best Documentary Honorable Mention: "Constantine’s Sword," directed by Oren Jacoby;
And "Run Granny Run," directed by Marlo Poras

The Maverick Award for Best Short Doc went to "Sali M Baba,"  directed by  Tim Sternberg.
Short Doc Honorable Mention: "The Ladies", directed by C.A. Voros.

The Diane Seligman Award for Best Short Narrative went to "High Falls", directed by Andrew Zuckerman.

The Diane Seligman Award for Best Student Short Film went to "Aquarium", directed by Rob Meyer.

The Maverick Award for Best Animated Film went to "Fantasie In Bubblewrap", directed  by Arthur Metcalf.

A special ‘Animation Diva’ award in animation was presented to animator extraordinaire Signe Baumane for her film "Teat Beat of Sex".
 
The Haskell Wexler Award for Best Cinematography went to "War/Dance", directed by Sean Fine & Andrea Nix Fine and shot by Sean Fine.

The Maverick Award for Excelllence In Editing of a Feature  Documentar went  to "Constantine's Sword", Kate Hirson, Editor.

The Maverick Award for Best Editing of a Feature Narrative  went to "In Search of a Midnight Kiss", Jacob Vaughan, Frank Reynolds, Editors.
Best Editing Honorable Mention:  "Iron Ladies of Liberia", Davis Coombe, Editor.
               
The Honorary Maverick Award was presented to Christine Vachon of Killer Films, by actor/writer
Lili Taylor and producer John Sloss

The Honorary Trailblazer Award was presented to Ted Sarandos, Chief Content Officer at Netflix Inc., by former Trailblazer honoree John Sloss.
