The American Society of Cinematographers has chosen Chris Menges to receive its International Acheivement Award in the organization's annual awards event February 27. Menges has a considerable resume of films, from "Black Beauty" to "Dirty Pretty Things," and he won Oscars for his work on "The Killing Fields" and "The Mission" and was nominated for "Michael Collins" and "The Reader."
