Film Movement has acquired Slovenian director Damjan Kozole's ("Spare Parts") "A Call Girl" (originally released as "Slovenka"), a Slovenian and English language "tale of secrets, deception and desperation." The company has plans to release the film in Q2 of 2010. "A Call Girl" previously screened at Toronto International Film Festival, Palm Springs, and Rotterdam, among others.

“Once again we have the pleasure of acquiring a film by a director we have worked with before, and we couldn’t be more thrilled," said Film Movement's said Adley Gartenstein. "Damjan Kozole has a special knack for capturing the ethos of post-Communist Eastern European life with both humor and warmth, proving to be a significant cinematic voice in the region."
