IFC Films announced today that it has acquired the U.S. rights to "The Overbrook Brothers," a road movie about two estranged brothers searching for their biological parents. Directed and co-written by John Bryant, the film stars Nathan Harlan, Mark Reeb, Laurel Whitsett, and Steve Zissis. IFC plans to release the film via its movies-on-demand platform starting February 17th. The film will be available on VOD for three months.
"We saw this hilarious and smart film in SXSW and immediately and unanimously agreed it was perfect for IFC Films," said Jonathan Sehring, President of IFC Films in a statement.
