Kodak Names 2010 Scholarship Recipients

Kodak announced the award recipients of the 2010 Kodak Scholarship Program during the University Film and Video Association Conference at Champlain College. On the scholarship program, Kodak Worldwide Education Segment Manager Johanna Gravelle noted, "There is a vast pool of talented, emerging filmmakers, and this is one way for Kodak to recognize their hard work and creativity. Our goal is to support the next generation, and the film schools and faculty who foster their careers." The recipients, whose work was judged by Emmy-winning cinematographer Buddy Squires and who will receive a Kodak grant and a cash award, are:

Gold Award for Excellence in the Craft of Filmmaking: Guy Godfrey, "Revelations" (AFI)
Silver Award for Excellence in the Craft of Filmmaking: Edit Blaumann, "Lesson" (University of Theatre, Film, and Television in Budapest)
Bronze Award for Excellence in the Craft of Filmmaking: Wonjung Bae , "Made in Makanda" (Columbia College Chicago)
Honorable Mention for Excellence in the Craft of Filmmaking: Soraya Burtnett, "Counting Backwards" (UCLA) and Leandro Ferrao (Lusofona University)
