Octagon Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Octagon, the world's largest sports and entertainment representation and marketing agency, recently announced the appointment of David M. Taghioff as Chief Operating Officer within the agency's Athletes & Personalities Division.

Taghioff comes to Octagon following eleven years holding varied executive positions at the William Morris Agency. Past clients of his include NFL, MySpace, Swarovski and Rock&Republic.

“We are pleased to welcome David as a key member of the Octagon Entertainment team," said Philip D. M. de Picciotto, President of Octagon Athletes & Personalities. "David's international experience in Europe, the Middle East and India are a strong complement to Octagon’s global sports and entertainment practice and will enable us to continue to provide industry-leading opportunities to our clients."
