Oscar producers Adam Shankman and Bill Mechanic have announced that Michael B. Seligman will be back for his 33rd Academy Awards telecast. Seligman will serve as this year's supervising producer. “We are excited and honored to work with one of the legends of the industry,” said Mechanic. “I look forward to lovingly torturing Michael, as we all move toward putting together one of the most complicated and dynamic television events of the year,” added Shankman.
Seligman has earned five Emmy nominations for his work on the Oscars. His other credits include the Nobel Prize telecast, "America's Millenium," "Funny Women of Television," and "Return to the Titanic...Live!"
