Gotham Awards To Be Streamed Live Online

The Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP) announced today a partnership with Ustream.com to present a live webcast of the 19th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards.  The awards show will be streamed live in its entirety to a global audience on Ustream at http://www.ustream.tv/gothamawards2009.
The ceremony is being held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on Monday November 30th at 8:00pm ET / 5:00pm PT.  Gotham Award nominations in six competitive awards categories will be given out including Best Feature, Best Documentary, Breakthrough Director, Breakthrough Actor, Best Ensemble Performance and Best Film Not Playing at a Theater Near You.  In addition to the competitive awards, director Kathryn Bigelow, actors Natalie Portman and Stanley Tucci, and producers Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, will each be presented with a career tribute.  The awards show will be hosted by comedian Kumail Najiani.
