“Air” Wins USC Scripter

Jason Reitman, Sheldon Turner, and Walter Kirn have won the USC Scripter award for their work on Reitman’s “Up In The Air.” The awards were held Saturday night in Los Angeles, with “Air” beating out the likes of “Crazy Heart,” “Precious,” “District 9” and “An Education.”  Last year’s winner was “Slumdog Millionaire,” and the year prior it was “No Country for Old Men.”  Both films went on to win the adapted screenplay Oscar (as well as the best picture Oscar).
