“Hipsters” Wins at MEIFF

Valery Todorovsky’s “Hipsters” won a $100,000 prize yesterday when it was awarded the Black Pearl Award for Best Narrative Film at the 3rd Middle East International Film Festival (MEIFF). Elia Suleiman’s “The Time That Remains” won the Black Pearl for Best Middle Eastern Narrative Film and a $100,000 prize.
