MTV Acquires iFILM

MTV has acquired iFILM in a $49 million deal, reports Abbey Klaassen. MTV will leave iFILM as is, leaving it to operate and grow as it has been doing. The network seems most interested in iFILM as a porfolio piece and as a hand in the user genrated content arena.
