ARCADE FIRE at Central Park Summerstage With DAVID BOWIE!

ArcadeFire_red.jpg Arcade Fire, the super hot septet that hails from Montreal, Quebec, played an amazing show last night at Central Park Summerstage. They had a great stage presence, all decked out in their Sunday best, with the band members all singing at the same time while switching instruments and played songs new and old.

After coming back on stage for an encore, they announced they were going to play a David Bowie cover (Five Years?), which brought a huge applause until the audience saw the Thin White Duke himself join Arcade Fire on stage and the crowd, as expected, completely lost it. Bowie also played “Wake Up,” singing the first few lyrics to the song alone. (You can download a cover of this version of the song that they performed at the Fashion Rocks! show last week.)
