An Adrian Tomine Winter

The graphic novelist Adrian Tomine brings his amazing drawing skills again to bless the latest cover of the New Yorker. I like his work, in particular Tomine’s recent book, “Shortcomings,” which is about a cynical Asian American man in his twenties dealing with his insecurities and immaturity as he struggles with relationships and his own post-graduate aimlessness.

Tomine also created one of my favorite covers for the 2004 New Yorker called “Missed Connections.”
