I had a great time this past weekend attending the Starz Denver Film Festival where my short "Face Value" played. I also participated in a fun panel on film blogging. Anyway, here's some pictures and word bubbles in that ground breaking new format, the comic strip, to convey the experience.

We headed down to the land of beach and sun last Thursday for our East Coast premiere of "Face Value" at the Sarasota Film Festival, where we were warmly welcomed by the friendly fest and Florida folks and partied with the mumblecorp gang.

Several years before Brothers Israel picked up their first Super 8 camera, they self-published mini-comics. This is their story.
Jeff's cats give us their thoughts on the recently re-released Werner Herzog film, "Cobra Verde."

We'll also be offering more film festival adventures next month at the Sarasota Film Festival, where "Face Value" will be screening with great films such as "In The Shadow of the Moon," "Silver Jew," "After the Wedding," "Rocket Science" and a bunch of other films we haven't seen yet but heard are great, such as "Away from Her," "Hannah Takes the Stairs," "Quiet City," "Off the Grid: Life on the Mesa, "Zoo," "51 Birch Street," and "Crazy Love."
