Morrison and Quitely Return for “Batman and Robin” Comic

If you read last year’s All-Star Superman comic, you can see that writer Grant Morrison and artist Frank Quitely really knocked out it the park with that hit series, somehow managing to take the most familiar superhero on the planet and instill a classical sense of what the fuss was about to begin with while also keeping alive the whimsy that makes comics fun.

The team returns for “Batman and Robin,” which sounds like a pretty different take on the character.

In an interview with Comic Book Resource, Morrison says:

We’ve got is a more light-hearted, more spontaneous Batman and a real bad-ass, violent Robin. So I think people are going to enjoy it. It’s a very different dynamic between the two characters.”
