Another film with an old neurotic guy hitting it off with a hot young 21 year old girl.. Ahh Woody Allen. Film looks fun, but iW critic Eric Kohn calls it:
"Marked by interchangeably trite and witty dialogue, “Whatever Works” is the definition of a minor Woody Allen movie. The director’s triumphant return to New York City after several years of European excursions finds him in familiar, if not exemplary, form."
I personally think that if Woody Allen limited his cinematic output to one film every three years he'd be hitting more home-runs instead of singles, doubles and triples.
Or that he should really challenge himself and make a Western. Or a serious sci-fi film.
