Twitter Feed "Shit My Dad Says" Gets Book and TV Deal

What I find most surprising about this piece is NOT that the hilarious twitter feed Shit My Dad Says is getting made into a TV show but that the writer Justin Halpern is a Maxim editor. I always imagined some white trash kid in a crappy suburban town.

Yet another illusion destroyed. Le sigh.

From the AV Club:

A month ago, 29-year-old Maxim.com editor Justin Halpern landed a book deal for his popular Twitter feed shitmydadsays, on which he dumps the irascible, profane mutterings of his 73-year-old father. Now CBS has signed a deal with Halpern to develop a sitcom based on the feed, with the help of Will & Grace creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick.

Where is the house that is pictured in the show? It looks like my HOA and my wife and I are debating. Thanks!
