Dark Horizons (via Ain't It Cool News) reports that The Wachowskis are being offered the chance to reboot the Superman franchise as a trilogy.
Apparently "Superman Returns" director Bryan Singer is out completely. Not surprising with the disappointment in how that film was received. I liked "Returns" but no one has yet to capture the comic book Superman like Nolan did with his version of Batman.
For folks who want to see a great comic book version of Superman, check out Grant Morrison's "All-Star Superman." So much fun.

My buddies and I will only go to the next Superman movie if we're assured of never seeing that pansy Routh again.

I liked Superman Returns, also. It will be a shame if they reboot it, but if they do, I really hope they bring Brandon Routh back.
