If not for the steady influx of emails from club promoters, I wouldn't have a had a clue that Thanksgiving Eve was one of the biggest party nights in the city. Whether I decide to go to "The Jive Turkey Ball," "The Birth of Reggaeton: A Reggaeton Extravaganza," or "the 5th Annual Thanksgiving Eve bash," I know I'll be at a "a party like no other" that I'll "never want to leave." I always thought the wednesday before thanksgiving was time for half-drunken, awkward conversations with high-school crushes and former-friends or for the skirmishes with your family that set the stage for the big Thursday dinner showdown.
