The New York Times is reporting that Heath Ledger was found dead this afternoon in his apartment. I remember when he first appeared on the scene back around the time of THE PATRIOT, and could never understand what all the fuss was about. In the past few years he has proven himself one of the greats and his loss is a true tragedy. I guess THE DARK KNIGHT will be his final performance. From what I hear, it should be an amazing one.
