Last night was the first major televised debate between the four major democrats running againt Bloomberg (yes, i know everyone thinks bloomberg is going to steamroll over the opposition, but this is the yellow dog democrat in me speaking). The main storyline the newsies seem to be running with is Giff Miller's major flub over the school system. Despite his posturing as a staunch supporter of public schools, Miller dodged, spun, danced and did whatever else he could to avoid saying he'd send his children there. You can read about it here.

Although I haven't chosen a candidate yet, I thought this might be a time worth pointing out that Rep. Anthony Weiner (who is running) "is an original co-sponsor of the United States Independent Film and Television Production Incentive Act, which would provide a business tax credit to producers of film or television programs substantially produced in the United States, up to 25% of the first $25,000 of wages paid to any employee. The credit would be available to productions with costs of more than $500,000 and less than $10 million."
