One week from now Sundance will announce it's line up, kick starting the warm up jog into an all out sprint. Accepted filmmakers will be bombarded with calls from sales agents, publicists, distributors, and more. The rejected films will target other (and not necessarily worse) festivals. Tapes will be sought like jobs during the great depression. Party grids will start popping up. Sponsors will start digging in. Who's not excited?
