Watching the president's address last night on a live stream via Hulu, I kept thinking about the surprising amount of new media momentum that the current president has maintained. The story of his election might be the best social networking saga of all time, but since inheriting the Oval Office, Obama's image has willingly circulated among a variety of different screens -- from television to computers to the iPhone. All that, and he's pro-Blackberry, too! Talk about bipartisan outreach.
Remember when a reporter asked Bush if he Googles himself? I think it's time for somebody to ask Obama about his YouTube habits. While Bush -- and McCain, for that matter -- clearly suffer from technophobia, the current president lovingly embraces a variety of media in his daily routine. And his process for consuming that media would likely reveal a lot about who he really is.
