My colleague Liz Rothenthal, the overlord of the UK's annual Power to the Pixel conference, dropped me a line to let me know that the event's cross-media film competition is now open for submissions. The Pixel Pitch asks for "stories that can span film, TV, online, mobile and gaming to be presented to a select group of financiers, commissioners, tech companies, online portals and media companies in front of an audience of PTTP participants." The winner gets 6,000 pounds.

Like From Here to Awesome, this contest puts an important emphasis on the news way in which people choose to process stories through digital media. The more screens that it can play on, the better chance that audiences will pay attention.
