I watched "Frequency" on TV today while i worked on a project - then just our of curiosity I looked up your review. It is TOTALLY BACKWARDS!!! The son, in present time, is able (because of freak Auroroa Borealis events) to communicate with his father via his father's ham radio set. He warns his father of events that are about to happen, which then change the courss of events (naturally). The SON initiates the conversation, not the father, as your review implies.
