It's a film that's 35 years old, but doesn't feel outdated one bit. Francis Ford Coppola's The Conversation is easily one of my favorite American films of all time. Over at the New York Times online, A.O. Scott discusses what makes this film such a classic. See it immediately, if you haven't. Or, watch it again, and remember how wonderful a film it is. Also, I hope that Scott manages to bring these regular video segments on classic films, over to his new job co-hosting At The Movies on syndicated television.
