When Benoît Jacquot's film A Tout De Suite opened stateside in 2005, The New York Times' Stephen Holden said "This small, nearly perfect film is really about the sad chains of events that can follow when people foolishly surrender to their dumbest romantic impulses." For The Village Voice, J. Hoberman said "Tout de Suite harks back to the suave and somewhat creepy psychologically fraught trio—The Disenchanted, A Single Girl, Seventh Heaven—that [Jacquot] made during the '90s. Like those, it has its fairy-tale aspect; in this case, it's the story of a sleeping beauty roused." Now, you can get this homage to the New Wave, on Amazon VOD. Cinetic and Cinema Guild are happy to make this the latest in a line of digital release we're collaborating on. Click here to see the first two minutes of the film.
