Okay, sports fans: in the spirit of the current NBA playoffs and championship, the Austin Film Society and South by Southwest have initiated a weekly basketball match held at Austin Studios. Yesterday was the first one, and it was a little uneven, with Gregory and Christian from AFS versus yours truly, solo. So, it's safe to say the series has begun at AFS: 1, SXSW: 0. But allow me to say once again, the player count was AFS: 2, SXSW 1. So I guess it works out in the long run. Next week will have some real competition at hand, as SXSW creates a team of ... believe it or not ... more than one person! Let's get ready to rumble...
